Water Stewardship Manager, WW Sustainability

The Worldwide Environment Team is looking for a results-oriented individual to join the company’s water stewardship program. In this role, you will develop and oversee replenishment projects that support Amazon’s water stewardship program. You will work with global partners to identify opportunities for restoring watersheds, expanding water access, and improving water system efficiency in regions where Amazon operates. You will develop a portfolio of projects, oversee project implementation, and own long-term project maintenance and reporting workstreams. Key job responsibilities - Work with external partners to source replenishment projects for 10-15 watersheds per year - Manage relationships with existing partners and ensure that projects deliver sustainable benefits for targeted watersheds - Track project pipeline for replenishment projects in targeted watersheds - Work with internal teams to complete contracting and payment processes for all projects - Work with external partners to identify and validate volumetric benefits of replenishment projects - Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions - Communicate about Amazon’s water stewardship work - 10-20% travel requirements for project implementation and meeting with regional teams
