Cvent is seeking a Creative Director to lead the full global creative function across brand, design, copywriting, video, and production. This is an executive-level creative leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-expectation environment and knows how to translate brand vision into world-class creative at scale. You will manage and inspire a multidisciplinary global creative team, serve as the creative authority across marketing, and partner directly with senior leadership to ensure creative output is always aligned with strategic priorities and business ROI. You will also be a key peer to leaders across Corporate Marketing (Social, PR/Comms, M&E) and across the broader marketing organization (Demand Gen, PMM, Events). This role is for a creative leader who knows how to manage up, manage across, and deliver under pressure, someone who can assess urgency quickly, set clear priorities, and hold a team accountable to both quality and execution standards. In This Role, You Will: Global Creative Leadership & Team Management Lead and manage all global creative resources, including designers, copywriters, and video/motion production headcounts. Set a clear creative vision and standard of excellence, then build the team systems, rituals, and accountability structures to execute against it. Recruit, develop, and retain creative talent across disciplines, building a team culture grounded in quality, ownership, and craft. Manage and optimize relationships with external agencies and freelance partners, balancing in-house capacity with external resourcing. Executive Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Alignment Operate as the senior creative partner to CMO and VP of Corporate Marketing, navigating executive expectations with confidence, clarity, and professionalism. Build and maintain strong peer relationships with leaders across Corporate Marketing (Social, PR/Comms, M&E) and priority marketing functions (Demand Gen, PMM, Events) to ensure creative execution is coordinated, prioritized, and aligned with business goals. Represent the creative function in leadership forums, presenting concepts and recommendations with conviction and the ability to influence decisions at the senior level. Manage competing demands from multiple stakeholders with competing priorities, making clear, defensible decisions about sequencing and resourcing based on business impact. Creative Prioritization & Operational Excellence Own the global creative calendar, intake process, and prioritization framework, ensuring the team consistently applies the right level of urgency and investment to each project based on its ROI and strategic importance.
