Where is the work: Virtual     Executive Project Developers combine deep project development expertise with exceptional leadership and problem-solving ability. They serve as trusted resources for regional teams, leading challenging opportunities, evaluating complex technical and financial decisions, communicating effectively with executive stakeholders, and driving alignment across multidisciplinary teams.   Successful Executive Project Developers understand how customer needs, building systems, financial structures, construction execution, risk management, emerging technologies, and organizational priorities come together to create successful projects. They are comfortable leading workshops, coaching regional developers, reviewing construction strategies, and presenting to executive decision makers. Above all, they elevate everyone around them.

What you will do

Lead Strategic Project Development   Oversee project development for high-profile, complex, and strategic opportunities across North America   Support regional teams throughout opportunity qualification, audit planning, solution development, project strategy, financial evaluation, risk management, customer engagement, and contract execution   Support Regional Teams & Capability Growth   Collaborate with Project Developers, Sales teams, Energy Engineers, and Operations leaders to strengthen project development capabilities   Provide coaching, mentoring, technical guidance, and project leadership support to ensure successful development and execution of complex opportunities   Drive Project Strategy & Customer Alignment   Facilitate definition of customer objectives , prioritization of investments, evaluation of alternatives, and alignment of stakeholders around a common vision   Support executive presentations, customer workshops, and strategic planning discussions throughout project development   Advance Project Development Excellence   Promote deployment and adoption of project development standard work, tools, processes, and best practices across North America   Encourage knowledge sharing, capture lessons learned, and identify opportunities to enhance consistency, quality, productivity, and customer outcomes   Champion Innovation & Emerging Technologies   Evaluate market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies to identify new solution opportunities   Partner with internal experts to incorporate advanced technologies, building analytics, geothermal, digital solutions, AI-enabled tools, electrification strategies, and resilience-focused solutions into customer projects   Ensure Technical, Financial & Execution Alignment   Guide teams in balancing customer objectives , technical feasibility, financial performance, constructability, operational considerations, implementation risk, and long-term value   Support quality reviews of audits, financial models, project scopes, contractor strategies, and customer deliverables   What you will bring:   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , Construction Management, Energy Management, Facilities Management, Architecture, Business, or related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience   8+ years of experience leading development of complex energy,
