Security Clearance Processing Administrator, US ADC Security

Amazon's Security team is looking for a Clearance Processing Administrator to build and sustain the cleared workforce for a U.S. Government program standing up a classified AI Factory. We are obsessed with getting the right people cleared, badged, and mission-effective as fast as the rules allow, because clearance throughput is the single biggest driver of whether this program starts on time. In this role you own personnel clearance processing end to end: submitting and tracking crossover packets and SCI access requests, verifying eligibility, citizenship, and investigation currency, and coordinating adjudications and access determinations with our sponsoring security office. You will work in the trenches with personnel security, program security officers, and hiring managers to turn a 120-plus person staffing plan into people who can actually walk into the SCIF and work. This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. Key job responsibilities • Submit and track clearance crossover packets and SCI access requests (e.g., via the Government clearance-submission system). • Verify eligibility, citizenship, SSBI/CIP currency, and need-to-know prior to access. • Coordinate with the sponsoring security office on adjudications and access determinations. • Maintain the personnel-security database and access records, and remove access when no longer required."
