Job Description
Software Engineering (MTS) Team Overview The DET FinApps Engineering team manages a portfolio of financial applications, explicitly including: Source-to-Pay (S2P), Spend Management (including Budgetforce), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and Investor Management. The team evolves solutions built on the Force.com platform and across the technology landscape including Coupa, Workday, and MuleSoft. We manage the supplier portal and coordinate purchasing requests across the organization through My Procurement Center. The team is responsible for delivering comprehensive solutions, including development, managing deployment pipelines, and ensuring a consistent delivery cadence.
Role
Overview The Member of Technical Staff (MTS) is an individual contributor within the DET FinApps Engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering technical solutions across our financial applications portfolio. The MTS works alongside senior engineering staff to build, integrate, and maintain enterprise financial systems, including Salesforce, Coupa, and Workday. This role spans the entire software development lifecycle—including requirements analysis, implementation, platform development, integration engineering, testing, and production support. The ideal candidate collaborates closely with business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams to execute high-impact technical initiatives. Engineers in this role contribute to production-scale systems supporting core financial workflows, including Source-to-Pay (S2P), Spend Management (Budgetforce), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and Investor Management.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Development & Hands-On Execution Core Platform Development: Lead end-to-end SDLC using Apex, LWC, Flows, and custom triggers with robust data modeling and schema design. Agentforce & AI Integration: Build Agentforce Agents, custom scripts, and grounded Prompt Builder templates backed by Data Cloud and CRM data. Integrations & Release Delivery: Design REST/SOAP APIs, manage unit testing and UAT, and drive CI/CD deployments through post-production support. Technical Collaboration Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and business analysts to deliver enterprise Salesforce solutions. Contribute to solution design, code reviews, release readiness, and production support processes. Collaborate with release and platform teams on scalable deployment and CI/CD workflows. Manage and document test deliverables (test plans, test cases, test results summaries) and perform test coverage analysis. Required Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on experience developing and architecting enterprise solutions on the Salesforce platform. Strong technical proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript. Core Technical & Hands-On Requirements Hands-on development and integration experience on large-scale Salesforce orgs, including Apex, LWC, Flows, and APIs. Proficiency in configuring Agentforce Agents, topics, actions, and custom reasoning workflows. Experience building, testing, and managing grounded flex and field
