**_About This Role_**

A Day in the Life of a Pricing & Estimating Intern:

+ Support proposal team members in the development of cost proposals\.

+ Participate in multiple activities to ensure fully\-supported, compliant proposals are current, accurate, and complete in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and company policies\.

+ Analyze labor hour estimates, material estimates, travel, and other functional estimates

+ Input data into ProPricer and generate reports

+ Writing proposal narratives

+ Assist in preparing management review slides

+ Support customer fact\-finding, negotiations and audits\.

+ Follow established procedures and work under general direction\.

+ Other duties as assigned\.

**_Qualifications_**

+ Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field and/or less than 2 years of relevant work experience\.

+ Ability to obtain a security clearance

+ PC proficiency required in Microsoft Office \(Word, Excel, etc\.\)

+ Advanced Excel skills are a plus\. Ability to learn new software quickly

+ Capable of communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing

+ Ability to work well with others at all levels and disciplines

+ Basic knowledge of General Accounting processes, procedures, and rules
