Job Description
The Opportunity: The Global Security Systems Coordinator supports the Global Security Systems Manager in the administration, maintenance, documentation, and continuous improvement of Mattel’s global electronic security systems. This role helps protect people, assets, intellectual property, and brand reputation by supporting access control, CCTV, intrusion, alarm monitoring, badging, vendor coordination, and system reporting across Mattel locations. Mattel is a purpose-driven, innovative company focused on inspiring, entertaining, and developing children through play. The ideal coordinator demonstrates curiosity, accountability, collaboration, inclusion, good judgment, and a commitment to privacy and safety while working across security, facilities, IT, and regional business partners. What Your Impact Will Be: Maintain accurate database records, system programming, and routine preventative maintenance for physical security platforms. Coordinate vendor service and maintenance work, verify service logs, and open/track service tickets until closure. Support access control administration, including employee and vendor badging, badge templates, user creation, and routine reporting. Support CCTV/VMS administration, including camera additions, DVR/VMS programming, user access, and troubleshooting. Maintain CCURE files and other system records for all Mattel sites and ensure naming, access, and documentation are current. Assist with intrusion and alarm system programming, monthly burglar-system testing, and coordination of related monitoring equipment. Support electronic security design efforts by gathering requirements, reviewing vendor proposals, and assisting with implementation planning. Communicate system issues, outages, or recurring service concerns promptly to the manager and relevant stakeholders. Attend manufacturer training and help train security staff through job aids, user manuals, training calendars, and refresher materials. Support cross-functional partners with investigations, incident verification, reports, and operational questions as needed. Complete special projects and other duties assigned by the Manager and Director.
