Our Cloud Corporate Partnership team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance organization at the forefront of Microsoft’s cloud growth. We partner deeply with Microsoft engineering, marketing, and business development teams to build strategic partnerships that deliver maximum value. We are looking for a Group Finance Manager to help drive thought leadership on some of our largest and most strategic Azure deals. This role will drive AI automation and transformation across the team including owning consolidation of product and regional marginal cost frameworks to help inform deal making strategy, partnering closely with key stakeholders from EG finance (Revenue and Cost teams), deal teams (deal desk and business development), engineering (product engineering and supply chain / capacity teams), and sales.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities include: Partnering with Strategic Sales, Business Development, Engineering, and other teams to guide healthy Azure partnerships Drive thought leadership on marginal cost frameworks, including bridge to actual costing, and forward efficiencies Developing frameworks to accelerate, simplify, and scale Azure’s deal making process Engaging with senior internal executives to clearly articulate the outcome of complex financial analyses Continuous learning of Microsoft Cloud services, infrastructure, operations, go-to-market, and long-term cloud economics.
Qualifications
Qualifications Minimum Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 4+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR equivalent experience. Deep modeling capabilities and ability to work with financial systems Prefer red Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience Passionate about the technology industry, and ability to engage in technical discussions Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling simple communication of complex topics to an executive audience Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in a business that evolves at a fast pace Comfort working at multiple altitudes, from strategic/high-level projects to detailed analysis Proven leadership skills, with demonstrated results in proactively driving and delivering high value/high-impact project results through both individual and v-team efforts Strong partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence others without direct authority and appropriately push back when required Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines High level of self-motivation; ability to quickly identify what needs to be accomplished and resourcefulness to get things done Financial Analysis IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 101,100.00 - € 151,700.00 per year.
