" Position Overview: We are seeking a Food Safety Specialist to support the execution, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Corporate Quality and Food Safety Management Program. This role will ensure compliance with FSSC 22000 requirements, support certification activities, drive food safety culture initiatives, and partner with manufacturing sites across the region to maintain the highest quality and food safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of the Corporate Quality & Food Safety Management System (QFSMS) across the region. Develop, maintain, and standardize QFSMS documentation in line with regulatory, customer, and internal requirements. Coordinate and support FSSC 22000 certification activities and external audits, including corrective action tracking and follow-up. Partner with sites, quality teams, and commercial functions to address customer quality and food safety requests. Provide compliance documentation, declarations, and supporting evidence for customer approvals and audits. Support the development and achievement of annual Quality & Food Safety goals and objectives. Lead regional QFSMS management reviews and contribute to global review processes. Develop, execute, and continuously improve Food Safety & Quality Culture initiatives, including employee surveys, recognition programs, and action plans. Mentor site Food Safety Teams on GMP, HACCP, Food Fraud, and Food Defense principles. Deliver QFSMS training and support the development, maintenance, and tracking of food safety training programs.
What Are We Looking For?
Bachelor's degree in a Business, Engineering, Science, Food Technology, or other relevant technical discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within food manufacturing, beverage production, or packaging manufacturing. Minimum 1 year of experience in food safety-related activities. Strong knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems and food safety auditing practices. Experience with HACCP, GMP, Food Fraud, Food Defense, and GFSI-recognized standards (FSSC 22000 preferred). Ability to develop and improve quality and food safety programs within a manufacturing environment. Experience driving continuous improvement and food safety culture initiatives. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations and reports for leadership teams. Good understanding of manufacturing processes, quality assurance principles, and engineering concepts. Fluent English communication skills; Spanish language skills would be an advantage.
Travel may be required to support regional manufacturing sites, audits, and food safety initiatives.
Work Environment: This EMEA based role supports central functions and offers flexible work arrangements including hybrid or fully remote options, subject to role requirements and manager approval.
Hiring Range: 137,250,00 – 197,640,00 PLN/ gross per year. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market benchmarks. Depending on these factors, the actual offer may fall above or below the posted range.
