Co-op or Intern, Risk Advisory Services - Vancouver or Calgary - January 2027

Your Opportunity Our Vancouver/Calgary offices are looking for a Co-op Student or Intern to join the Risk Advisory Services team from January to April 2027. This is a net new role and the successful candidate and own the following responsibilities:    Assist in delivering individual client initiatives for the delivery of risk advisory services, including internal audit, enterprise risk management, internal controls assessments and IT controls audits.   Establish & maintain a trusted advisor strong relationship with clients, delivering high quality, professional & responsive service.   Effectively communicate with clients and team members regarding project progress updates and issues.     How do we define success for your role?    You demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspects of your work: Integrity, Respect & Collaboration   You understand your client’s industry, challenges, and opportunities; clients describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high quality work   You identify, recommend, & are focused on effective service delivery to your clients   You share in an inclusive & engaging work environment that develops, retains & attracts talent   You actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace   You grow your expertise through learning & professional development.     Your experience and education     You are currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in Accounting and/or business technology   You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork   You have proven leadership skill and can take initiative to seek understanding   You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.     The expected compensation range for this role is $48,000-$60,000.
