Job Purpose: Under general supervision, responsible for the set-up, maintenance and operation of robotic welding equipment and other duties as assigned. Typically reports to a supervisor. • Requires a mechanical or electronic aptitude with a good working knowledge of fabrication and machining practices. • Must have GMAW welding experience • Robotic experience with: o Touch Sensing o Through the Arc Seam Tracking o Position Registers o User Frames o Tool Center Point o Welding/Weaving Schedules o Remastering o Macros • Proficient computer skill with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints • Complete understanding of welding defects and weld inspection tools Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic fixtures. • Follows documented procedures standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect free work and adjustment of components and machines. • Perform other related work duties as assigned. • Follows and utilizes CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea • Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work. • Keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition. • Must be able to function as part of a team, willing to be multi-trained and maintain a safe, clean an orderly work area • Contributing team member Must have effective communications skills   Posting Dates: September 18, 2026 - September 29, 2026 Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  Qualified applicants of any age are encouraged to apply Not ready to apply?
