Mechanical Millwright

Weyerhaeuser Company is searching for a skilled Industrial Maintenance position to join our Maintenance team at Evergreen EWP Plant located in Castleberry, AL. This facility's primary products are TJI Joists and Microllam Laminated Veneer Lumber for beam and header applications. We are seeking individuals who have a thorough comprehensive knowledge of mechanical equipment, processes and techniques to safely repair, modify, install and maintain the facility and high-tech lumber manufacturing equipment. Must be committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, great communication skills, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility. Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, to include days, nights, weekends and holidays as operating conditions require Starting Pay Rate: $28.17 - $33.80, depending on level of experience Key Functions - Machinery lubrication - Repairing & troubleshooting mechanical power transmissions - Bearing installment, coupling, belts, sprockets and chain drive installations - Repair and troubleshooting of pneumatic and hydraulic systems - Metal fabrication and basic principles of cylinder repair - Some troubleshooting and exposure to industrial electricity issues
