Join Worley’s established Water Resources team in Brisbane and work alongside leading hydrologists and water engineers on some of Australia’s most complex and rewarding water projects. As part of a nationally connected team, you’ll deliver innovative surface water solutions for mining, energy, chemicals, and infrastructure clients, contributing to projects across Australia and internationally. We’re looking for technically capable professionals with strong communication skills, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams. You’ll have the opportunity to work on large-scale projects from investigation and assessment through to conceptual and detailed design, while building a long-term career within a highly experienced and supportive team.

What You'll Do
Collaborate with the Australian surface water team in the delivery of projects across Australia and internationally. Provide technical input and support on projects as required. Planning and supervising surface water project delivery. Coaching and mentoring of junior staff. Preparation of proposals, contract documentation and technical specifications. Collaboration with peers and internal clients within the Worley global business. Be responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of Worley’s Quality Assurance System. Implement safe work practices and maintain a strong commitment to health, safety and environmental performance. What You'll Have A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience in consultancy environments, including technical project leadership and mentoring junior team members. Strong experience in hydrological and hydraulic modelling, water balance modelling, and water quality assessments. Strong experience in the application of the Australian Rainfall and Runoff guidelines including climate change considerations. Knowledge of drainage design, water sensitive urban design (WSUD), and soil erosion and sediment control. Experience preparing, reviewing, and delivering high-quality technical reports and project documentation. A proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and client-focused approach. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop trusted client relationships. A passion for contributing to team growth, capability development, and business development initiatives. Desirable A Master's degree in Hydrology or a related discipline. Experience supporting marketing, business development, and growth strategies within a consulting environment. Knowledge of ANCOLD, ICOLD, GISTM and other dams and tailings related guidelines. Demonstrated experience working to state or international regulations and standards. Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or be eligible to obtain.
