About the role
We are seeking a strategic and operational leader to oversee Digital Technology across our factories in Asia and the Middle East. This role will lead a regional network of Factory IT Site Leaders and drive standardization, operational excellence, and digital transformation across all plants in scope. This leader will build a high-performing regional organization of Factory Digital Leaders, ensuring technology becomes a strategic enabler for manufacturing excellence, operational resilience, and business growth. The role partners closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Global Digital COEs, and Business Leadership to define and execute a multi-year digital transformation roadmap aligned with enterprise objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Leadership & Governance Develop and execute the regional Digital Technology strategy aligned with the enterprise manufacturing vision and business priorities. Serve as the trusted technology advisor to regional manufacturing and supply chain leadership. Drive long-term digital transformation initiatives that enable Smart Factory capabilities across the region. Lead technology governance and investment planning to maximize business value. Enforce the EDPS operating model, governance cadence, and performance management framework across all sites. Ensure alignment with global Digital / IT strategy, standards, and cybersecurity requirements. Act as the primary escalation and decision point for critical IT incidents impacting factory operations. 2. Standardization & Process Excellence Drive standardized processes across factories spanning production, quality, planning, logistics, and maintenance. Eliminate site-by-site variation by enforcing common templates, architectures, and best practices. Lead cross-site benchmarking to identify optimization opportunities and replicate best practices. Promote Carrier Excellence CX principles in IT processes to improve reliability and efficiency. 3. Digital Transformation & Technology Adoption Partner with global manufacturing and supply chain digital teams to deploy enterprise platforms including MES, ERP, analytics, and related capabilities. Ensure consistent adoption of digital solutions across all sites with measurable business outcomes such as OEE, downtime, cost, and quality. Oversee regional digital roadmap execution and ensure alignment with site priorities and global strategy. Drive training, adoption, and change management across factories. 4. End-to-End Factory Visibility & Insights Establish an end-to-end view of factory operations across the region. Enable standardized data models and reporting frameworks for performance visibility. Ensure integration across systems supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations. Promote data-driven decision-making and real-time operational insights. 5. Operational Reliability & IT/OT Excellence Ensure high availability and performance of factory systems, infrastructure, and shopfloor technologies. Drive disciplined incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive actions for critical events. Oversee
