Our Small & Medium Business Health Solutions team is looking for a consultant to join our team of professionals in Quebec. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada. What to expect on a daily basis Provide brokerage, consulting services, client advice and respond to ad hoc customer service requests Observe and propose ways to improve customer outcomes, efficiency, and profitability Manage business relationships with SME customers Negotiate and maintain Aon's engagement agreements with clients Maintain client hygiene by maintaining Aon's Client Planner tool, Aon CRM, Time Reporting, and other related systems Support customer portfolio P&L and customer revenue allocation Manage & grow relationships with local insurance carrier sales & service teams Build and maintain a high level of "Aon IQ" to recognize cross-sell opportunities with Aon's other customer solution lines Build relationships with Canadian colleagues in the commercial risk, retirement and investment and human capital sectors, as well as with U.S. and global colleagues in the health & welfare sector, to generate new business opportunities for the Canadian SME benefits practice Involve leaders and colleagues from specialized business units to support client activities as needed Provide support to business development producers for new Health Solution logo’s Support Aon colleagues in the U.S. and around the world with customers who need Aon Canada’s Health Solutions' assistance, expertise and commitment for the acquisition & implementation of new Health Solution clients in Canada Support the implementation of client solutions developed by the national brokerage team To support, but also provide feedback on the innovation of our standardized market offering(s) How is this job offer a difference from others All healthcare solutions colleagues need to promote employee engagement by inspiring their team to produce exceptional, insightful, and consistent solutions for customers. Skills and experience that will lead to success: 3 to 5 years of experience in group benefits Experience in a client-facing environment; proven success in that context is a strong asset High level of social and emotional intelligence Excellent presentation and communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to explain complex topics to non‑expert audiences University degree or equivalent experience in group insurance and/or benefits consulting Strong adaptability and resilience, with the ability to thrive in a constantly evolving environment Proven ability to manage competing priorities, shifting deadlines and demanding stakeholders Demonstrated ability to stay current on industry trends and on provincial and federal legislative changes Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development within the group benefits industry Life Insurance Licence (LLQP) required Bilingualism (French/English) required due to frequent interactions with clients, colleagues and partners in Québec, across Canada and internationally Aon is not accepting unsolicited
