IFF is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our Global R&D Naturals team in Grasse, France. In this highly visible role, you will play a key part in the industrialization of new natural ingredients, supporting the scale-up and implementation of innovative technologies from pilot to commercial production. Working closely with scientists, engineers, operations teams and external partners, you will contribute to the development of sustainable and efficient manufacturing solutions that support IFF's growth and innovation ambitions. As a Senior Process Engineer , you will join a dynamic and multicultural R&D organization in Grasse, France, where scientific excellence, innovation and collaboration drive our success. You will provide technical leadership on process design, equipment development, process optimization and technology transfer activities supporting the Naturals business. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine engineering expertise, project management skills and innovation mindset while working on cutting-edge technologies and strategic industrial projects. Where You'll Make a Difference Lead the design, sizing and implementation of new process technologies and equipment. Drive the industrialization and scale-up of innovative technologies from laboratory and pilot scale to commercial manufacturing. Optimize and upgrade existing process equipment to improve performance, efficiency and sustainability. Conduct feasibility studies and assess technological solutions for future business needs. Lead supplier selection, equipment qualification, FAT/SAT activities, commissioning and start-up projects. Ensure the safety, reliability and regulatory compliance of process installations. Develop and maintain engineering documentation including PFDs, P&IDs, SOPs, technical specifications and engineering calculations. Support capital investment projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with R&D, Operations and Engineering teams to deliver robust and scalable manufacturing solutions. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and contribute to the development of a strong internal process engineering network across IFF sites worldwide. What Makes You the Right Fit Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 10 years of experience in process engineering within the chemical, ingredients, pharmaceutical, fragrance, flavor or related industries. Strong expertise in process design and scale-up, including operations such as distillation, evaporation, extraction, filtration and crystallization. Experience with heat transfer, fluid dynamics, hydraulic calculations and process equipment design. Knowledge of automation systems and industrial process control. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems. Demonstrated experience managing engineering projects and capital investments. Strong understanding of process safety and industrial compliance requirements. Fluency in English; French is highly desirable. How Would You Stand Out?
