Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Warehouse Manager located in Batu Kawan, Penang. The Warehouse Manager role in charge of implementing a successful operation by managing all distribution, warehouse functions. Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services, supervising staff. What a typical day looks like: To drive warehouse improvement project. To participate in IKW/SGA. To coordinate with warehouse supervisors & leaders for new process implementation. Ensure continuous improvement & automation to standard warehouse process. To work with internal stakeholder (production, planner, buyer, PM) to ensure smooth warehouse operation. To drive cost saving for warehouse related activities & operation. To optimize warehouse space. Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Complies with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement. Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Monitors volume of business and defines appropriate work schedule. Sets productivity and establishes necessary controls to ensure objectives are met. Monitors condition and maintenance of operating / material handling equipment. Constantly monitors the efficient handling of shipments and receipts to create an error free culture. Reviews the loading and unloading schedules to maximize efficiencies and reduce expenses. Coordinate floor cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciling records. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience and extensive knowledge of purchasing policies and practice. Requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations with advanced experience using MRP systems. Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal).
