The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to lead our design review team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity. In this role you will: • Lead the design review team to bring the NGI AUR to Critical Design Review • Coordinate efforts across IPTs to ensure on-time delivery of objective evidence and analyses • Work with the customer to define the datapackages and expectations for the design reviews • Work across the organization and customer/user community to ensure consensus and understanding of system design status and closure Basic Qualifications • Previous technical leadership in systems engineering or project management on missile development or space hardware programs • Previous responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical contract scope on a missile or space hardware development program • Experience leading technical teams through major system design reviews • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance; US citizenship is required Desired Skills Technical Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college Proven track record of effective customer coordination and collaboration Demonstrated knowledge of the NGI program Experience in the design, integration and testing of Missile and Missile Defense Weapon Systems Demonstrated ability to motivate and energize a geographically distributed team The candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate, both internally with peers and Program leadership as well as externally with customer counterparts Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $161300.00 - $299500.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
