What You Will Do : Raytheon is currently seeking a System Administrator/Cybersecurity Specialist to support the Surveillance Radar Program, (SRP) operation in Taiwan. The successful candidate will join a team in a challenging assignment at a remote location. He/she should be familiar with large scale local area network (LAN) hardware and software and should have a good working knowledge of engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, procedures and work scheduling and reporting. The ideal candidate would also have experience in maintenance and troubleshooting large, phased array radars. Work involves regular rotations (multiple weeks) on a mountain top. This individual will perform other duties assigned in support of the mission.
What you will do
UNIX hardware and operating system installation (including cabling and peripherals) and administration to include AIX and RedHat Enterprise Linux or similar architectures. VMWARE ESXi installation, operations, and troubleshooting. General PBX and VOIP installation, operations, and troubleshooting. Provide training and the development of operating and preventive maintenance procedures for networked data processing systems. Proactively monitoring network and server health and taking corrective action as appropriate. Help ensure Cyber policy is enforced. Triage alerts to identify malicious actors on customer networks. Work with team for tasks such as issuances of Smart Cards, managing policies for system deployment and on system assets. Qualifications you must have: Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline but relevant work and/or military experience may be in lieu of degree. Willing to work 13 hours, 5 days per week. Ability to troubleshoot server issues and outages, (Windows/Linux/Unix). Fabricating and testing network cables and other interconnects. An active Secret Clearance. Proficient in computer systems and networking and adept at troubleshooting. Qualifications we prefer: Current CompTIA Security+. Proficient in configuring, managing, troubleshooting, and securing network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Familiarity with security control assessments, STIG Viewer and Secure Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) checklists or benchmarks. VMware vSphere administration and maintenance experience. Familiarity with DoD DIACAP and/or RMF cyber-security risk management. Knowledge of phased array radar technical principles. Required Education: Bachelor's degree in related field and at least 5 years of related experience. Experience can be substituted for educational requirements. Must have at least 10 years of related experience without a degree.
