About this role

Are you passionate about using technology to create a positive impact for people and the planet? Are you excited by the challenge of turning fragmented, manual supplier processes into a single, scalable, intelligent experience? Supplier Engagement & Development (SED) — the consolidated supplier-facing function across Amazon's Global Procurement Sustainability organization — is looking for a Program Manager to lead the Digital First Strategy and own the One Supplier Journey program: the technology spine that lets SED engage, develop, and recognize suppliers at scale across Environment, Social Responsibility, Supplier Development & Impact (SDI), and Community Impact. In this role you will own the strategy and end-to-end delivery of how thousands of suppliers experience Amazon's sustainability expectations — moving them from fragmented, uncoordinated touchpoints across a dozen systems to one coordinated, self-service journey. You will translate SED's strategic priorities (communication consolidation, the Supplier for Good badge program, segmentation, and an integrated supplier portal) into a coherent technology roadmap, and you will partner deeply with Global Procurement Technology (GPT), Global Supplier Management (GSM), the Ada/Quick Suite teams, and each GPS sub-pillar to deliver it. This is a high-visibility role where a single, well-designed platform decision can change the experience of tens of thousands of suppliers across 20+ countries and directly advance Amazon's sustainability commitments. Key job responsibilities - Own the Digital First Strategy for SED: define and maintain the multi-year technology roadmap that consolidates fragmented supplier-facing systems into the One Supplier Journey, sequencing delivery across communications, development, and recognition. - Serve as SED's named business owner / co-owner for the One Supplier Journey platform and represent SED's equities in cross-organizational technology intake, ensuring supplier engagement, development, and recognition requirements are embedded in relevant roadmap projects rather than added after the fact. - Translate SED's strategic priorities into scoped, prioritized product requirements: the Supplier for Good (S4G) Badge dashboard, the Supplier for Good (S4G) Academy (segmentation-driven training delivery), the consolidated communication/action queue, the supplier-voice feedback loop, and the AI-powered "Supplier Advisor." - Partner with GPT, the Ada and Quick Suite teams, and Amazon Learn to design and deliver integrations (e.g., Supplier Connect, Supplier 360, EcoVadis/Avetta, Contract Central), defining build/buy decisions, phasing, and dependencies. - Design and govern the cross-pillar content and curriculum model: establish SED as the content-governance authority while sub-pillars contribute pillar-specific modules under a shared standard. - Define, instrument, and report the metrics that matter: supplier participation and adoption, duplicative-outreach reduction, learning completion correlated to compliance outcomes, badge-tier progression, and the commercial pull-through of certified suppliers into sourcing. - Build mechanisms — playbooks, SOPs, intake and prioritization frameworks, and self-service pathways— that let the journey scale across categories, regions, and business units without proportional headcount growth. - Serve as a primary point of contact for supplier-engagement technology questions and development activity across the GPS ecosystem, and drive alignment across procurement, sustainability, learning, legal, and technology partners. A day in the life Your morning might start by reviewing adoption and participation metrics from the supplier portal and triaging where suppliers are getting stuck in the journey. Mid-morning, you are in a working session with the GPT and Ada teams, pressure-testing the design of the Supplier Advisor agent and the S4G Badge dashboard against real supplier scenarios. After lunch, you are aligning
