Discovery as a dedicated EMEA Payroll Analyst within the Global Business Services People and Culture Shared Services Payroll Operations Department. The Payroll Operations Analyst plays a key role in payroll administration, conducting audits, and supporting best practices across payroll processes. This position involves compiling, analyzing, and documenting issues related to payroll and associated activities to identify systemic problems. The role will also be responsible for researching and responding to payroll inquiries, supporting internal audits, and preparing materials for external and internal auditors. Act as the primary point of contact for the outsourced payroll service provider and collaborate closely to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Ensure compliance with payroll processing calendars and local payroll requirements across EMEA countries. Resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees, agencies, and other internal and external stakeholders, including management of case management tickets. Compile, analyze, and document payroll and fiscal issues to identify systemic problems and support continuous process improvements. Partner with Legal, Finance, and HR teams to ensure payroll compliance and support internal and external audits. Prepare payroll reports, statistics, year-end reporting, and perform data analysis using advanced Excel functionality, including VLOOKUPs, INDEX MATCH, and pivot tables. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in payroll operations supporting EMEA markets while managing sensitive and confidential information is required. Experience in a shared service or large multi-business-unit organization is an advantage. Must be bilingual with English language proficiency. Experience with Workday HR, Safeguard Payroll, or other SaaS payroll tools is required. Experience with payroll integrations and mass data loads (EIB) is preferred. Solid knowledge of payroll and compensation practices, including salary, benefits, taxes, and statutory requirements across EMEA countries.
