Job Description Summary Responsible for maintaining and restoring the integrity of Comcast's Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) and Fiber networks through troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, outage restoration, leakage mitigation, power supply maintenance, and construction support. Performs complex network diagnostics, locates and repairs impairments, responds to service interruptions, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable delivery of Video, Voice, and High-Speed Internet services. Utilizes fiber, coaxial, optical, and software-based diagnostic tools to support network performance and customer experience. Schedule, Location & On-Call Expectations Location: Memphis, TN (5450 Winchester Road) Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Schedule may vary based on business needs, network events, and customer-impacting outages. On-Call Rotation: Approximately once every 7 weeks. Must be available to respond to emergencies, service interruptions, severe weather events, and other network-impacting situations as needed. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Experience Safety Awareness Works safely in aerial, underground, roadside, and customer-facing environments while following OSHA, NEC, NESC, DOT, and Company safety standards. Network Maintenance Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on HFC and fiber networks, including power supplies, amplifiers, coaxial cable, and optical equipment. Troubleshooting Diagnoses and resolves network impairments using test equipment, optical diagnostics, leakage detection tools, and software-based applications. Fiber & Coaxial Technologies Understands fiber optic and coaxial network architecture and can isolate, repair, and restore signal integrity across the network. Preventative Maintenance Identifies potential network issues before service is impacted through inspections, testing, and proactive maintenance activities. Aerial & Underground Construction Performs plant repair and maintenance activities involving aerial and underground cable, network equipment, and supporting infrastructure. Customer Service Communicate professionally with customers and internal partners while resolving outages, service interruptions, and network issues. Ladder & Aerial Lift Operations Safely climbs ladders, operates aerial lifts up to 34 feet, and performs work at elevated heights in various weather conditions. Driving & Field Operations Maintains a valid driver's license and safely operates Company vehicles while traveling throughout the service area.

Core Responsibilities Possess ability to troubleshoot on analog and digital optics to support connectivity to the node, remote OLT/vBNG, or OLT, and channelized and non-channelized optical signals. Troubleshooting efforts may include the use of software and application-based tools. Able to isolate and resolve fiber optic signal impairments for Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) and Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON) networks. Performs inspections of fiber optic equipment during the course of troubleshooting such as connectors, patch panels, optical splitters, attenuators, etc. Performs construction maintenance duties such as: splices aerial/underground coaxial cable and equipment to restore cable
