Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Systems Engineer for Digital Ecosystems to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at our Melbourne, FL campus. The selected engineer will perform as a member of an interdisciplinary team on a key effort to develop novel and innovative solutions to advanced technical problems. The successful candidate will design and develop system architectures and define key capabilities and performance requirements. They will defines design and technology maturity constraints of the system in accordance with customer specifications, develop thorough definition of system external interfaces, and define system implementation approaches and operational concepts to ensures requirements are met and evaluates performance with customer. Essential functions include: - Assist in development of system architectures. - Architecture, CONOPS, and use case development using model-based systems engineering methodologies. - Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. - Perform system requirements analysis. - Automation workflow development of multi-disciplined functional processes in support of various engineering and business processes.
