Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144 This position is Hybrid - requiring 2 days in the office each week (on Tuesday & Wednesday) Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm Job Summary This Lead Specialist on the Bankruptcy Processing team serves as the primary point of contact for processing and managing new bankruptcy notifications to ensure accuracy and compliance. Essential Functions Receive and process new bankruptcy notifications promptly and accurately Enter and update client data on internal systems while ensuring compliance with company and federal guidelines Maintain technical expertise across all bank systems used in bankruptcy processing Ensure data quality and timely completion of tasks to meet service level agreements (SLAs) Update sensitive client account information according to corporate policies Manage physical and electronic mail distribution and prepare outgoing correspondence Enter, upload, and research court documents through bank intranet and PACER website Initiate proof of claim filings for student loans when required Adhere to department guidelines, compliance procedures, and all relevant regulations Provide phone coverage for bankruptcy-related inquiries and payments Demonstrate teamwork, respect, accountability, integrity, and leadership in all interactions Assist with training new staff and perform additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to meet attendance standards Strong problem-solving and resolution abilities Commitment to quality and teamwork Excellent time management and organizational skills Proficiency in multitasking with multiple monitors and systems Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments Strong written and verbal communication skills Moderate experience with Excel (copy/paste, filtering, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Bankruptcy experience Paralegal experience Strong interpersonal skills Good judgment and basic leadership abilities Analytical, research, and problem-solving skills Comfortable with multiple computer systems and applications Understanding of banking policies, procedures, and regulations Experience with customer service, preferably in a call center Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Experience training or assisting new staff Skills Working knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Working knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner. Working knowledge of back office operations; ability to implement the practices, processes, technologies, and applications associated with banking transaction processing and records management. Working knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations. Working knowledge of the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Working knowledge of the concepts and principles of Gemba Kaizen methodology; ability to identify and eliminate manufacturing waste through iterative improvements to processes.
