Position Summary
The Director of Premium Sales & Services plays a key role in providing best-in-class service to the premium seating members at Vanderbilt University Athletics. This role is a hybrid sales and service role that requires a proactive problem solver with a strong work ethic, good attitude, and a commitment to teamwork. This role includes an open, non-traditional schedule that requires the ability to work all events and possible nights and weekends. This role pays an annual salary of $95,000-$105,000 and is bonus eligible. Responsibilities
Serve as primary contact for premium member accounts for Vanderbilt Athletics. Responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with premium clients through phone calls, emails, in-seat visits at events, face-to-face appointments, and community networking events. Provide knowledge and assist premium members with maximizing their accounts. Be attentive and respond to all customer requests, concerns, and inquiries within 24 business hours. Identify opportunities for up-sells, add-ons, and referral business from clients to maximize revenue. Research, prospect, and establish potential group Leaders through daily phone calls, emails, and social networks. Attends all events to further enhance and develop relationships with premium members. Works with other department stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the premium experience are best-in-class. Participate in the planning and implementation of premium and corporate partner events. Responsible for negotiating, authoring, and submitting finalized contracts and BEOs to the operations' leadership and other venue staff according to event space rate sheets and minimum food & beverage sales guarantees. Maintain accurate records for all Catering sales activities in conjunction. Communicate daily with Director of Premium, culinary staff, catering staff, and Operations Staff about the needs of our guests and their expectations Maintain an extensive client database for follow-up sales calls and contact (in person, phone, email, mail, etc.) with daily or weekly lead tracking. Assist with follow-up of guests' experience at the venue, ensuring that all issues have been addressed. Lead catering sales meetings as well as other operational / venue meetings as required.
