Job Description
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW The Global Compensation Finance team provides dedicated Finance support over employee benefit and compensation programs, working in close partnership with Human Resources, Finance, and Treasury and Balance Sheet Management stakeholders to ensure alignment between program strategies and financial outcomes. Key focus areas for this role include: Supporting financial reporting, analysis, planning, forecasting, and performance management activities for employee benefit and compensation programs. Contributing to governance, internal controls, documentation, and audit-ready evidence across monthly and quarterly Finance processes. Identifying practical opportunities to improve templates, documentation, automation, and process efficiency while maintaining data integrity and control effectiveness. Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across several of the businesses at TD. This program is designed to complement your on-the job experience and features: Leadership talks with key Leaders from across the organization Lunch and Learns on topics such as Innovation Diversity and Inclusion and Personal Branding and so much more JOB DESCRIPTION Execute on the Global Compensation monthly and quarterly financial reporting process for FY2026 Seek and execute any efficiencies and automation with the current Global Compensation financial reporting processes Supporting the team with updating Global Compensation related SOPs and other documentation JOB REQUIREMENTS We’re proud to work with a group of diverse colleagues. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field; with the intent of going back to school at the end of your work term (requirement of all co-op/intern positions) You are enrolled or plan on pursuing your CPA designation OR are committed to pursuing a career in Finance Transformation You demonstrate both financial acumen combined with a strong orientation toward curiosity, innovation, and problem-solving Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word Must be detailed oriented and quick to apply new concepts Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders at various levels of seniority Demonstrated ability to build effective and collaborative working relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners Ability to operate as a working lead on initiatives as assigned High personal
