About this role
Who we are looking for We are seeking an experienced AML and Sanctions Senior Associate to support the AML & Sanctions governance and program management function for State Street Wealth Management. The Senior Associate will report to the Head of AML and Sanctions Program Governance for State Street Wealth Services. The role includes supporting the oversight, and ongoing enhancement of a variety of program functions, including but not limited to the development, implementation, and maintenance of the AML and Sanctions compliance policies, and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements. Ongoing identification of inherent risk, assessment of controls, and determination of residual risks for State Street Wealth Services. Provide ongoing support for the establishment and oversight of governance structures, management reporting, and escalation frameworks. Support the review and assessment of new products, services, and business initiatives for AML and Sanctions compliance risks, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations. Participate in projects related to changes to the AML governance or escalation framework including the design, implementation, and execution of controls to ensure process reliability and ensure documentation is comprehensive and up to date. Support the coordination of regulatory examinations, internal audits, and compliance testing programs to ensure program effectiveness and adherence to policies. Support the development and execution of the AML and Sanctions Compliance Training Program. Support the implementation of the quality assurance framework to monitor the effectiveness of the compliance program and drive continuous improvement. Support the management of the monthly reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
