Responsibilities include: Lead delivery of business-critical applications using GCP cloud-native architecture, full-stack development practices, and enterprise engineering standards. Manage and mentor a team responsible for front-end development, back-end services, API integrations, data processing, testing, implementation, and production support. Partner with architects and engineering teams to design scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available solutions using GCP services, microservices, containers, and modern integration patterns. Provide technical leadership for Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, React or Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL databases, messaging, and event-driven architecture. Oversee Agile delivery activities including planning, estimation, design, development, unit testing, defect resolution, release readiness, implementation planning, and change execution. Track and communicate delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, Git, Jenkins, and related enterprise platforms. Champion secure development practices, cloud governance, vulnerability remediation, code quality, automated testing, and compliance with enterprise risk standards. Guide design reviews, code reviews, testing strategies, technical documentation, and production readiness reviews. Lead incident response and problem management for high-priority production issues, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and prevention plans. Drive observability and operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, logging, performance tuning, capacity planning, and resiliency improvements. Maintain evergreen documentation including application architecture, cloud deployment patterns, developer standards, onboarding guides, runbooks, and troubleshooting procedures. Collaborate with business partners, product owners, QA, infrastructure, cyber security, database, networking, and vendor teams to deliver high-quality technology outcomes.
