Job Description
We are hiring a full-time Senior Software Engineer to drive development and long-term ownership of the Personetics Digital Insights platform. This role is critical for building, scaling, and supporting personalized banking experiences across Web and Mobile channels, while ensuring stability for high customer volumes. As an FTE, the engineer will contribute beyond delivery—owning design decisions, mentoring the team, and supporting long-term platform evolution. Take full ownership of features and services from design to production support Ensure stability and performance of systems supporting large customer waves Drive improvements in system design, scalability, and reliability Design and build scalable backend services and APIs for digital insights Develop microservices and integrations with the Personetics platform Work on both real-time (event-driven) and batch processing flows Integrate with: Data pipelines and upstream systems, Event streaming systems (e.g., Kafka), Internal banking services and APIs Support environment setup and deployments (RND, UAT, QA, PROD) Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, demos, retros) Collaborate with BSA and Product Owner on requirements clarity and design feasibility Break down work into executable technical tasks with clear estimates Build unit and integration test coverage Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause resolution Support release deployments and post-release validation Mentor junior and mid-level engineers Provide technical guidance and best practices across the team Contribute to architecture discussions and roadmap planning Help build a strong engineering culture focused on quality and accountability Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Writes code, tests and deploys software. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software. Maintains and debugs software.
