Lead Product Manager, Developer Experience

GENERAL FUNCTION: Newline by Fifth Third is an embedded payment and deposits platform. The Newline API enables clients to move money across various use cases at  scale . The Newline Developer Experience Product Manager owns two products that face Newline’s client developers: the public-facing API documentation ( https://developers.newline53.com/reference/getting-started )  and the Dashboard. The Dashboard is a product that both clients and internal users  utilize  to search for accounts and transactions associated with the Newline API. The Dashboard uses data from the Newline API and visualizes it for users. The Newline Developer Experience Product Manager role will  provide  the right  candidate with  the opportunity to meaningfully shape these impactful products and contribute to the evolution of Newline.   Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand how to build a front-end product off of technical data from the Newline API  Be an expert in the public-facing API documentation  Champion the front-end products internally and externally  Identify opportunities to improve the products and client developer experience through discovery  Define the team priorities and own the roadmap for the near term and long term  Decompose features into workable tickets for the development team  Collaborate with product, engineering, design, operations, implementation, client success, risk, and financial partners across Newline and Fifth Third  Own feature enablement by managing the governance processes required in order to release features  Conduct training for stakeholders on newly released features  Operate responsibly and understand risk in this regulated financial environment  Support the Product Line Manager and team in various duties to achieve team goals SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Undergraduate degree or commensurate experience  5-7+ years’ experience in product management discipline  Strong product management background  Strong project management skills  Strong analytical skills  Demonstrated success in strategic development and product execution  Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization  Business acumen and understanding of business processes related to your products and clients  Understanding of how the front-end products are part of other services clients have purchased from Newline and/or Fifth Third  Experience working in agile development environment  Ability to self-motivate and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision **Position not available for immigration sponsorship** Lead Product Manager, API Platform & Developer Experience Total Base Pay Range 82,100.00 - 172,500.00 USD Annual At Fifth Third, we understand the importance of recognizing our employees for the role they play in improving the lives of our customers, communities and each other.
