This role plays a key part in leading complex capital projects across facility infrastructure, manufacturing environments, laboratories, and workplace facilities, ensuring successful outcomes that support employees, customers, and patients around the world. A Day in The Life Of: Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Lead projects through the full project lifecycle including business case development, programming, site selection, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, occupancy, and project closeout. Manage multiple capital projects simultaneously, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are achieved. Lead both remote and local project teams, driving alignment, accountability, and timely execution. Direct external design consultants, construction managers, contractors, and service providers to successfully deliver project objectives. Develop business cases and manage capital project budgets, risk assessments, expenditure forecasts, and financial performance reporting. Partner with Facilities Operations, Real Estate, EHS, Quality, IT, Design, Security, Engineering, Sourcing, Finance, Legal, and site leadership teams to ensure project success and regulatory compliance. Ensure alignment with corporate policies, commissioning requirements, qualification standards, and transition plans to Facility Operations. Support procurement activities including contract development, vendor selection, commercial negotiations, and change management processes. Facilitate stakeholder discussions, resolve issues, drive decisions, and maintain clear project communications. Conduct project site visits, contractor oversight activities, governance reviews, and stakeholder engagement activities as required. Key Skills & Experience Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical), Construction Management, or a related discipline with 5 years of experience. Experience managing capital projects and programs involving facility infrastructure, engineering projects, manufacturing construction projects, laboratory projects, and/or corporate real estate and workplace projects. Mastery-level knowledge of facilities and construction project management methodologies and practices. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing complex, cross-functional, and multi-team initiatives. Strong financial acumen with experience developing cost estimates, managing capital and expense budgets, forecasts, and project status reporting. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence outcomes. Experience supporting procurement strategies, contract development, vendor selection, commercial negotiations, and change management activities. Proven success leading remote teams while maintaining engagement, accountability, and project performance. Ability to facilitate effective discussions, ask probing questions, synthesize information, and communicate clearly to diverse audiences. Ability to travel up to 20%
