About this role
Amazon Shipping India is looking for a driven and customer-obsessed Account Manager to join the Small & Medium Business (SMB) team. In this role, you will own and manage a portfolio of SMB shippers — including D2C brands and e-commerce sellers — and be responsible for driving shipment volume growth, improving shipper health metrics, and delivering an exceptional post-onboarding experience. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned shippers, working cross-functionally with Operations, Program, Pricing, and Billing & Payment teams to remove barriers and unlock growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication and relationship management skills, comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-informed environment, and passionate about helping small businesses scale through reliable logistics solutions. Key job responsibilities 1. Shipper Portfolio Management: Own and manage a portfolio of SMB shippers, driving volume growth, revenue, and shipper retention. 2. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers through regular check-ins, business reviews, and proactive problem-solving to maximize shipper lifetime value. 3. Performance Tracking & Growth: Monitor shipment volumes, Revenue Per Parcel (RPP), Variable Gross Margin (VGM), and activation rates; identify at-risk shippers and execute targeted interventions to improve retention and growth. 4. Onboarding Handoff: Coordinate seamlessly with Pre-Sales Associates through a structured handshake process to ensure smooth onboarding of newly activated shippers into your portfolio. 5. API Integration & New Product Adoption: Support shippers in adopting 3P/1P API integrations and new product launches, enabling them to operate at scale efficiently. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, Program, Pricing, and Operations teams to relay shipper needs, inform roadmap priorities, and improve the end-to-end shipper experience.
