The Host's primary responsibility is to provide caring hospitality by monitoring customer traffic flow, acknowledging and seating customers upon arrival, providing product information and thanking customers upon departure.

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. All schedules contain weekend shifts as part of the requirements. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability. Follows Food Division Standards and Best Practices.

Ensure dining room is prepared for customer service.

Effectively deal with multiple customers and seat customers at clean tables avoiding over-seating.

Communicate customer requests/concerns and service flow issues to associates and manager on duty.

Be knowledgeable of servers' duties and responsibilities, table numbers, and station assignments.

Follow food safety standards and maintain work area and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards.

Work with bus team to clear and maintain tables according to company standards.

Answer phone and record reservations according to company standards.

Perform cashier duties when needed.

Open and close area following appropriate checklist, verifying completion with Manager on Duty prior to leaving the area.

Maintain stock levels and standards in product presentation.

Follow station specific duties and responsibilities.

Maintain personal hygiene and professional dress code to comply with Food Division and Health Department standards.

Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.

Perform other duties as needed.

No Education or Experience Required.

Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals in English.

Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform

Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department.

May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling and stooping.

Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions.

Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs.
