Visit our Institutional Page As a Senior Data Center Engineer, you’re expected to: We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to assess, size, and enable the use of critical environments in expansion or improvement scenarios, defining the most appropriate technical and physical characteristics to meet team needs — optimizing resource utilization and ensuring operational standards — while also executing deployment projects for new teams and/or environments in accordance with established technical specifications. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for understanding project requirements, coordinating and supervising electrical, mechanical, civil, structured cabling, and systems deployments — ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, deadlines, and applicable regulations. You will plan and approve the task schedules for deployments, ensuring alignment with the company's change management processes, and will oversee onboarding activities while guaranteeing that occupational safety requirements are met. You'll be Responsible For Assessing and sizing the use of critical environments in expansion or improvement scenarios, defining the most suitable technical and physical characteristics to meet team needs, optimizing space utilization and ensuring operational standards — including conducting technical site visits for greater assessment accuracy. Coordinating logistics for electrical, mechanical, civil, structured cabling, and systems deployments, evaluating and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Developing structured and clear RFPs (Requests for Proposal) or quote requests to be sent to vendors, specifying project scope and technical requirements in accordance with expansion or improvement needs and stakeholder inputs. Requesting and technically defining the materials and equipment required for infrastructure projects, and monitoring established delivery timelines. Planning and approving the task schedule for deployments, ensuring alignment with the company's change management processes. Coordinating and supervising project and contract execution — including analysts — ensuring that contracted activities and services meet established quality, safety, and technical standards for electrical, mechanical, civil, structured cabling, and systems work. Performing critical analyses of projects, requests, and infrastructure usage, identifying non-conformities to prevent future incidents or issues that could compromise service quality. Coordinating infrastructure occupancy, evaluating impacts to ensure compliance with established standards. Creating and maintaining up-to-date project documentation (as-built drawings, calculation reports, etc.) for audit and future reference purposes. Training and guiding analysts on more complex demands, building their capabilities in line with current practices, and interpreting and explaining applicable standards and regulations to team members. Preparing and managing internal policies and procedures related to the team's activities. Monitoring and ensuring that the team's operational indicators remain within established targets and OKRs.
