Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 to join our Global Supply Chain Program Management (GSCPM) organization, overseeing a portfolio of programs within the Platform Sustainment & Modernization Operating Unit (OU). This is a fully onsite role in Lake Charles, LA, offering close engagement with program, manufacturing, and supply chain teams as we support critical sustainment and modernization efforts for our customers. In this leadership role, you will be responsible, accountable, and empowered to drive operational efficiency, strategy, planning, and execution for the Global Supply Chain (GSC) statement of work across your assigned program portfolio. You will report to the Operating Unit Global Supply Chain Program Manager (OU GSC PM) and operate in a fast-paced environment, leading process improvements, tools and metrics, data integration, and cross-functional coordination with key GSC and program stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure all supply chain commitments are met; develop and execute integrated mitigation and opportunity plans to address organizational and programmatic risks and opportunities. Develop material strategies and lead GSC activities through all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP). Serve as a GSCPM focal point with Responsibility, Accountability, and Action (RAA) to the Operating Unit, in partnership with the OU GSC PM. Develop and execute GSC strategies in support of program build and sustainment, with a focus on affordability, operational efficiency, safety, and first-time quality. Ensure accurate integration and management of cost and schedule data in support of the Earned Value Management (EVM) baseline. Lead proposal management activities to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality submittals. Manage material financials in support of program portfolio financial and performance goals. Brief senior management on status, risks, and issues affecting cost, schedule, and supply chain performance. Demonstrate self-motivation, proactiveness, strong organization, attention to detail, and highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience, or Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience, in supply chain, business management, or a related field Minimum of 3
