Consultant - Accounting System Liaison

Principal is seeking a collaborative, solutions-oriented professional to join our Corporate Treasury team as a System Liaison III. In this role, you will help support and enhance the treasury systems and processes that enable cash management, payments, bank connectivity, reporting and daily treasury operations. You will serve as a key partner between Treasury, technology, banks and business stakeholders to translate business needs into system solutions, improve processes, and help ensure the platforms operate efficiently and effectively.

Provide day-to-day support of Treasury systems used for cash management, payments, bank files, interfaces, reporting, and user access. Provide leadership and direction for the analysis, research, definition of system changes, development of business designs, testing, and implementation of solutions to meet business needs. Act as a liaison between business partners and technical areas. Research, analyze and define business requirements and functional specifications. Coordinate implementation of business process and system solutions, develop and execute test plans and scripts. Develop and execute training for completed solutions with business partners, as requested. Identify, gather and prioritize improvement opportunities and innovative solutions. Analyze and recommend alternative solutions. Proactively troubleshoot systems and business problems. As needed, execute process improvements. Consult with business partners on solutions to meet immediate and strategic needs. Build and sustain relationships to ensure timely solutions. Act as a liaison, partnering closely with business and technical staff to foster teamwork. Effectively document system and business process for business partners in a clear, concise and thorough manner. Contribute to organizational learning by leading, mentoring, and coaching others, developing and sharing best practices, and taking action to facilitate improvements. Build and sustain project team relationships and manage vendor relationships. Use change management concepts and manage the culture and people impact of change. Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 4+ years of related work experience Treasury workstation and bank software experience a plus A strong knowledge of business processes, bank service products, and systems Technical aptitude and comfort learning, supporting, and improving systems Experience applying business analysis and project management tools, practices, or methodologies Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly Ability to facilitate discussions, gather requirements, interview stakeholders, negotiate priorities, and influence without formal authority Ability to build relationships, collaborate across teams, and work effectively in a matrixed environment Comfort working through ambiguity, managing change, and helping others understand and adopt new processes or solutions Required to provide on-call support as needed Additional Information Role will initially be aligned to 3rd shift to accelerate learning and training process Post the training, eventually move to 2nd shift to provide better coverage of APAC & EMEA regions
