Standard Job Description 
 Applies quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products. Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures. Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Engages in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.   As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for providing quality engineering expertise to support the program’s quality objectives, developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures, and driving continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.   Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:  Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes  Updating planning and work instructions  Analyzing quality data on yields, rework, scrap, and non‑conformances  Leading program parts review and corrective‑action meetings  Ensures corrective/ preventive measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements  Performing assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance  Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures   Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place   Engages in product failure investigations, and material review board decisions  Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction Perform First Article Inspections   Basic Qualifications 
 Must be a U.S. Citizen  Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or other STEM discipline Experience supporting nonconformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes Familiar with using Artificial Intelligence Procedure optimization software Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements Familiarity with inspection methods, measurement tools, and basic statistical techniques Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues Ability to train new hires including engineers and electronic associates on build techniques Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Desired Skills 
 Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments.  Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 quality management systems and aerospace quality requirements.  Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.  Familiarity with First Article Inspection per AS9102 requirements.  Experience with quality data analysis, metrics, and trend reporting.  Knowledge of configuration management and change control processes.  Experience using manufacturing execution systems or quality management systems.  Demonstrated
