Assistant Vice President - Data Analytics

The Data/Information Mgt Sr Anlst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Requirement Gathering. Engage with stakeholders to identify, gather and document requirements for framework, pipelining solutions and translate business requirements to detailed technical specifications that can be understood and acted upon by development teams. Technical Solutions Mapping. Collaborate with tech team to map business processes that will be supported by framework and pipelines. Work with cross-functional teams to design end to end technical solutions that optimize business workflows and ensure seamless integration. Technology Partnership. Work closely with technology teams to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and system optimization. Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration. Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and the tech teams. Facilitate regular meetings and manage stakeholder expectations by delivering clear, concise, and timely updates on development progress, risks, and issues. Process & Controls Orientation. Develop strong processes, and indestructible controls to address risk and seek to propagate that culture to become the core value of the team. Agile Project Management. Work with product owners to prioritize features and improvements based on business impact and technical feasibility. Use Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to facilitate the development process, ensuring efficient execution of tasks within sprints Quality Assurance. Support the creation and execution of test cases, focusing on validating technical solutions against business requirements. Ensure that the tools, frameworks, and pipelines are thoroughly tested for performance, security, and business continuity. Documentation & Reporting : Create detailed documentation of requirements, processes, and system interactions for technical solutions and frameworks. Prepare reports and presentations that provide insights and recommendations for stakeholders regarding system performance, business continuity, and pipeline optimization. Continuous Improvement . Continuously assess existing tools, frameworks to identify opportunities for optimization and automation. Provide recommendations to enhance the scalability, resilience, and efficiency of the solutions being developed. Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing. Provide technical mentorship to junior team members, sharing your expertise in data engineering and business technology collaboration. Key Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
