Associate Director, PDS Projects Duties & responsibilities As a Project Director (PD) you will be expected to take a lead role in securing and retaining new local and national work with existing and new investor and landlord clients. To develop new and strategic business opportunities through a strong local network of contacts and business relationships such as Commercial, Retail and Industrial Investor sectors. When delivering complex projects, to accept total responsibility for the effective management of all phases of a project (or projects) from initial establishment to handover and project closure.  The project role requires coordinating thought and leadership skills to encourage maximum contributions of all participants in the specific project and focus these to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders. As a Project Director, you have a responsibility as a leader to contribute to the development of less experienced colleagues through mentoring and coaching in all aspects of project management.   Performance objectives A SUCCESSFUL PROJECT Within each project, establish and implement an effective organisation structure for reporting, communication and working procedures. Lead the project team to assemble and effectively lead consultants, contractors and suppliers to achieve the best possible performance from all members of the project team. Take a proactive role in delivering a successful project (s). Represent the client’s best interests from inception to completion of the project. Establish and maintaining a positive client relationship. Lead the project team to achieve the best possible performance from all members. Represent and promote the company throughout the project. Ensure accurate and timely project reporting. Ensure repeat business from existing clients. Produce detailed monthly reports for projects covering, safety, environment, program, resources, budgets, risk and profitability Lead the management of the construction phase of the project and ensure Jones Lang LaSalle is providing appropriate supervision commensurate with our role. Establish and implement an appropriate quality control system. Lead the identification, mitigation and reporting on project risks to ensure the delivery of projects on time and under budget. Lead the utilisation of Jones Lang LaSalle technology including Clarizen, Jaggaer, Project Toolkit.   BUSINESS OUTCOMES Promote JLL to new local prospects and key local landlord clients with expressed purpose of developing new business opportunities. Seeking out and developing new business relationships and generating new revenue from local landlords Target and generate new investor related Local revenue of $AUD $900,000 in 12month period that does not relate to new or existing Global, Regional or National agreements Develop relationships with other business lines with JLL. Where possible introduce opportunities to other business lines within Jones Lang LaSalle. Develop relationships with existing clients to increase the profile and exposure of Jones Lang LaSalle. Manage project revenue and payment cycles to avoid bad debt. Lead the preparation of EOI’s and pricing submissions to clients in order to win new work. Lead in the development of quality templates for use by others using Project Toolkit.
