Ocotillo Technology Fabrication Yield Analysis Engineer

Job Description: As a Yield Analysis Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and solving yield and reliability challenges to ensure our products meet the highest standards. On a day-to-day basis, you will analyze complex test data, conduct failure analysis, and develop advanced characterization techniques to improve manufacturing processes. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing product quality and operational efficiency, making a tangible impact on Intel's success. Conduct yield analysis and failure investigations to identify root causes and recommend solutions to improve manufacturing yields and reliability. Analyze end-of-line test data, process parameters, and electrical measurements using statistical tools to extract meaningful insights and perform correlation calculations. Develop and implement advanced characterization and analysis techniques to enhance the efficiency and precision of failure analysis efforts. Perform electrical failure analysis (EFA) to address complex yield limiters across product development and high-volume manufacturing phases. Collaborate across teams to segment issues related to process, test marginalities, and product operation. Support process and defect characterization while developing innovative techniques to accelerate failure identification and root cause understanding.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM field and 4+ years relevant experience OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM field and 2+ years relevant experience OR Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM field.
