Citi Private Bank Investment Operations Analyst is the intermediate level position within UK, Europe and MEA region Private Bank Investment Operations, which provides operational support to Private Bank Investment Business covering products like: Traditional Investments, Mutual and Alternative Investment Funds, Equities, Fixed income, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives and Structured Products. The overall objective of this role is to monitor and process market corporate action transactions, execute investors’ intentions through processing their instructions with the market, maintain settlement of transactions, oversee the records on clients’ accounts, analyze and resolve incoming queries related to corporate actions and income payments area. Job responsibilities include: Processing, verification and record keeping for investment products based on the provided documentation/instruction. Capture from the market incoming information about corporate actions and income payments affecting Citi Private Bank clients. Create such events in internal booking platforms (product processors) and oversee entire lifecycle of an event until final settlement. This includes various types of corporate actions and/or income payment events in different global markets, both mandatory as well as voluntary. Prepare and dispatch letters of announcement for corporate actions where distribution of client notification is necessary. Collect clients’ instructions (voluntary events) and pass them to custodians. Collect events’ proceeds (cash, stock) and distribute downstream to Citi’s clients. Support Investment Operations in daily activities. Investigating discrepancies and ensuring strong internal controls. Identifying inconsistencies in the process and mitigating risks in a timely and efficient manner. Maintaining communication and relations with internal and external key stakeholders from multiple global locations. Respond to incoming inquiries related to corporate actions. Support direct superior in escalation efforts and delegated assignments. Contribute to maintenance of internal procedures and operational documentation. Participate and/or coordinate the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for new operational technologies, products or functionalities. Perform control over automated processes. Actively raise/promote improvement initiatives that further automate or simplify our daily job, increasing quality of deliverables. Contributing to business goals as outlined by the organization. Other tasks related to operational support in private banking industry. If you are a motivated, dedicated person who has: Min. 4 years of experience in corporate actions, s ettlements or income payments areas (shared service center experience desired). Previous role in other Asset Servicing department in global financial entity would be considered as a plus. Securities processing experience will be considered your great asset. Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance. Knowledge of securities and capital markets. Understanding of Investment Products and Financial Markets. Fluency in writing and speaking in English. The ability to learn quickly and willingness to acquire new skills. Very good computer and MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with AI engines (Gemini, CoPilot, Claude).
