About this role
The WHE Service Technician Intern is responsible to support the WHE Service Technician so ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands. The WHE Service Technician Intern supports to improve maintenance related nonproductive time ratio of assets within the Maintenance Base (MB), and improves maintenance efficiency and people productivity. Work under the guidance and support of the WHE Service Technician Support with maintainance of well head equipment (WHE) and other pressure containing equipment(PCE) according to the pertinent maintenance program and compliant with the reliability centered maintenance strategy through adherence to the Computerized Maintenance Management System and standard work. Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems to record materials and supplies, labor costs and equipment maintenance performance history such as movements, work orders, parts used and time to maintain. Comply with TLM Product Line standards. Participate in the continuous improvement culture, initiatives and improvement plans within the MB to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery (CoSD). Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve asset turnaround time, which includes reducing downtime due to maintenance, parts and repair authorization numbers, failures and work-in-process. Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians. Implement CoSD projects, such as the planned repair and reuse of parts. Supporting circularity and sustainability improvements within their location. Participate in failure investigations if assigned. Comply with the TLM Competency Management System. Follow prescribed internship guidelines for the role. The internship will enable the candidate and SLB to determine if these requirements are met before committing to a full time job. Near completion or recent graduate of Associate degree or Diploma in Aviation, Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Electrician, Industrial, Instrument, Mechanic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Metallurgy Intermediate proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience in a business work environment (preferred) Experience with basic hydraulics, basic mechanical, digital & power electronics, electrical, basic electronics, pneumatics. Able to read and interpret instructions for assembly, materials, specifications, diagrams, manuals and schematics. Has good problem-solving skills, team player, attention to details, takes initiative and self-motivated to learn. Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate with various stakeholders SLB offers equal employment opportunity.
