Java Developer

Overview We are looking for a Java Developer with 5-9 years of experience to design, build, and support scalable backend services. In this role, you will work on robust application components, contribute to high-quality delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn requirements into reliable software.

Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Build and maintain RESTful APIs for web and application integrations. Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and write efficient SQL queries. Develop microservices and support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes. Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and production support activities. Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver features on time. Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability through clean engineering practices. Document technical solutions, updates, and implementation details clearly. You will stay close to the code, the requirements, and the customer problem so you can remove friction and build what matters most. You will use code reviews, testing, and automation to keep standards high and releases dependable. You will approach troubleshooting methodically, using data and root-cause analysis to resolve issues quickly.

5-9 years of professional experience in backend software development. Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. Experience designing and building RESTful services and microservices. Solid knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and query optimization. Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes in development or deployment workflows. Good understanding of Linux or Ubuntu-based environments. Experience with code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD practices. Ability to work effectively in an Agile or Scrum environment. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform. Exposure to performance tuning and scalability improvements in high-volume applications. Experience with legacy code modernization or SaaS application development. Python scripting experience for automation or support tasks.
