Requisition Number: [[id]]   Manufacturing Engineering- Instrumentation & Control   We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering- Instrumentation & Control for our Peterborough, Ontario site.  BWXT NEC's Fuel and Fuel Handling business is involved in the design, manufacture, development, testing, parts supply, and service of on-power refueling, reactor maintenance, and nuclear medicine delivery tooling sold around the world. We are the original designer of the automated systems that allow 24/7 on power refueling of CANDU reactors and aim to solve some of the Nuclear Industry’s most challenging problems. This position will also prepare and maintain shop documentation conforming to quality system requirements, assess and resolve non-conforming conductions that affect the product. This position also will support the shop through facilities and equipment maintenance, upgrade or installation and designing tooling as required to support shop activities and safe work.    Your Day to Day:

Shop Documentation • Prepare shop routings for each component reflecting the sequence of shop activities. • Identify shop resources and fixtures/jigs/tooling required for the scope of work, as well as provide material allocation and identification of applicable shop operating procedures and quality assurance standards. Non-Conforming Products • Resolve non-conforming conditions identified by Quality Control. • Assess each case relative to control drawings, specifications, customer expectations and quality standards. • Produce supplementary documents (i.e. work orders, repair drawings, condition reports, etc), as well as liaise with
