Within Azure Data, the Microsoft Fabric platform team builds and maintains the operating system and provides customers a unified data stack to run an entire data estate. Fabric ACE is a specialized engineering and customer escalation team within Microsoft focused on resolving the most complex and business-critical issues across Microsoft Fabric and Power BI workloads. Our mission is to protect customer trust by driving rapid resolution, deep technical collaboration, and systemic improvements across the product ecosystem. We partner closely with engineering, support, and strategic customers to accelerate issue resolution, improve platform reliability, and influence product quality at scale. We are the ACE team for Fabric, a fast-growing engineering team of customer-obsessed individuals. We are fundamentally changing how we deliver world-class support to our strategic Microsoft Fabric customers and building a new global support operations team to do it. We are looking for a customer-obsessed Advanced Cloud Engineer (ACE) to be part of the Fabric platform organization and help us reinvent the customer support experience for our top-strategic customers. Responsibilities - Engage and provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for top Microsoft Fabric customers, assisting customers and internal teams in resolving complex issues related to the implementation, configuration, optimization, and adoption of Microsoft Fabric workloads. - Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least two Microsoft Fabric workloads while staying current with the latest platform capabilities, AI-powered innovations, features, and industry best practices. - Investigate and diagnose escalated issues by analyzing logs, telemetry, errors, and system behavior, leveraging modern diagnostic and AI-assisted tools where appropriate to accelerate root cause identification and resolution. - Collaborate closely with Product Group (PG), Customer Advisory Teams, Engineering, and Support organizations to drive rapid issue resolution, improve customer experience, and influence product quality across the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. - Partner with PG to identify and prioritize bug fixes, feature enhancements, performance optimizations, and customer-driven feedback, helping shape the future direction of Microsoft Fabric and its AI-enabled capabilities. - Drive operational excellence through automation, scalable troubleshooting practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to enable effective collaboration and successful customer outcomes. - Actively contribute to customer and community education by
