About this role

We are seeking a Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of claims-related integrations and automation capabilities across our incident and claims ecosystem. This role will focus on reducing operational friction, improving data quality, and accelerating claims handling through scalable workflows connecting internal systems, third-party administrators (TPAs), insurers, and business stakeholders. The successful candidate will work backwards from customer and operational pain points to identify opportunities for automation, streamline cross-functional processes, and improve end-to-end claims outcomes. This role requires strong product judgment, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex business workflows into scalable product solutions. Key job responsibilities • Own the product roadmap for claims automation, workflow optimization, and third-party administrator (TPA) integrations • Define and prioritize product requirements that improve claims intake, triage, assignment, investigation, litigation support, and resolution processes • Partner with Claims, Risk, Legal, Insurance, Operations, and Technology teams to identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve customer experience • Develop business cases and success metrics for automation initiatives, measuring impact on claim cycle times, operational efficiency, and cost reduction • Establish mechanisms to identify workflow bottlenecks, data quality issues, and integration gaps across internal and external claims systems • Drive requirements for integrations with TPAs, insurance carriers, legal vendors, and other external partners • Create and maintain product documentation, business requirements, process maps, and stakeholder communications • Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority to deliver business outcomes across multiple organizations • Use data and customer insights to continuously improve claims workflows and operational performance A day in the life You start the morning reviewing claims routing metrics, spotting a spike in manual assignments for a specific TPA. You pull the data, identify a missing integration rule, and draft a requirement to fix it. Mid-morning, you join a sync with a TPA partner to align on data exchange specs for a new litigation workflow. After lunch, you review a BRD with engineering, negotiate scope trade-offs, and update your roadmap priorities. You close the day by prepping a business case showing how last quarter's automation work reduced cycle times by 15%.

About the team

The On-Road Incident Management (ORIM) builds the systems that connect Amazon's logistics incident management ecosystem to the partners who resolve claims on behalf of customers, drivers, and third parties. We sit at the intersection of insurance, operations, and technology, designing automated workflows that move claims data between internal platforms and external administrators. We prioritize simplicity, speed, and accuracy because every claim represents a real person waiting for resolution. You'll work alongside product managers, program managers, and engineers who care deeply about reducing friction in complex, high-volume operational processes.
