Supply Officer

An opportunity for a Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe (Madrid) . The selected candidate will join the PIOGO team , acting as the essential link between manufacturing units, supply chain stakeholders, and programs . In this role, you will play a key part in placing purchase orders, maintaining material flows, and managing supplier inventory to directly support assembly lines and customer support needs .

The main tasks of the jobholder will be: Manage Purchasing & Orders: Place purchase orders on behalf of the commodity and maintain full lifecycle order accuracy in the ERP system . Coordinate Material Delivery: Serve as the operational interface between manufacturing customers, program teams, quality, and physical logistics to ensure parts arrive on time, quality, and cost . Monitor Performance & Issues: Daily track supply chain performance across receiving, workshops, and shipping while prioritizing urgent requests and resolving disputes . Drive Corrective Actions: Collaborate directly with suppliers and cross-functional teams to mitigate supply risks and implement corrective/preventive action plans . Manage Inventory & Flows: Monitor global inventory volumes, control stock levels, and manage bidirectional logistics flows (returned parts, quotes, teardowns) . Improve Processes & KPIs: Implement and analyze key supply chain KPIs to identify continuous improvement opportunities and maintain supply continuity .

University degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field .

Proven experience in Supply Chain Management, ideally within aerospace or industrial manufacturing environments . Technical Knowledge: Strong command of MRP/ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office . Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills with a results-oriented mindset under dynamic pressure .
