In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Assist in creating, solving, post processing, and documenting fluids (CFD) simulations of proposed product designs Contribute to documented best practices to guide users in the application of simulation methods Participate in the continuous improvement of simulation specific technologies and processes, including scripting and automation Communicate with team members to maintain efficient flow of work through the group For This Role, You Will Need: Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering Successful completion of Introductory Fluids course Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher Junior or Senior Standing Experience with numerical simulations Experience with CAD software Demonstrated experience using Python or other programming/scripting languages Prior experience with engineering simulation through internships or project based engineering clubs (i.e. solar car, rocketry club, etc.) Our Culture & Commitment to You: At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
