Job Description
Job Brief: Creates, directs and implements integrated messaging and communications strategies and plans to reach internal and external audiences, including our employees, clients, partners and media, investors and Board of Directors, across all digital and in-person channels. Protects, promotes, and enhances AECOM’s brand and reputation, supports the organization in delivering strong results, aligns storytelling to key business priorities, elevates leadership profiles, and spotlights employees and their work to enrich the candidate and employee experience. Responsibilities & Duties Creates internal and external content development, including editorial calendars, project trackers, and award submissions Research, outline, write, edit, and proofread communications materials and ensure messages reach target audiences Leverage communication programs, message platforms, assets, and channels to support business priorities Timely distributes communication materials in appropriate platforms Track impact of marketing campaigns through performance dashboards, metrics, and analytics Monitor inbound emails received via the company’s general mailbox and respond to general to moderately complex inquiries Create media contact list and ensure proper contact management in various communications tools and platforms Monitor and write summaries regarding AECOM’s daily press coverage Escalate issues and recommend resolutions to manager Perform simple but varied tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, and procedures Assess identified issues and collate documentation to assist in investigating and in resolving common and recurring issues Contribute to various and simultaneous process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity May support junior members of the team in addressing routine issues within the assigned processes Qualifications Amenable for mid-shift schedule (either starts at 3PM or 4PM, Manila time) Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Marketing, Journalism, or other related disciplines At least 5-6 years of professional, corporate communications-related experience, preferably in a global company Experience in content writing and familiarity with AP style Experience with email and content management systems such as Poppulo, SharePoint, Salesforce and Adobe Suite, an advantage but not required Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools Strong project management capabilities Additional Information At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
