As sellers grow their businesses on Whatnot, their needs evolveâand this team builds the systems and tooling to support them at scale, including integrations with e-commerce platforms, WMS, ERPs, and accounting software. At its core, the team enables enterprise sellers to seamlessly onboard, operate, and scale on our platform. Enterprise Engineering is looking for their next software engineer who will operate at the intersection of engineering and customer successâworking directly with enterprise sellers and their technical teams to design, implement, and support custom integrations on top of Whatnotâs APIs and infrastructure. Unlike a traditional software engineering role, youâll have a direct line to the customers using what you build. Youâll spend your time writing code, building internal tooling, automating repetitive support workflows, developing integrations, and identifying product gaps that can be solved once instead of manually worked around hundreds of times. This role is ideal for a software engineer who wants to transition into a more customer-facing role , partnering directly with enterprise sellers and their engineering teams to help them successfully adopt live commerce. Youâll build integrations, tooling, and scalable technical solutions that make onboarding and operating on Whatnot seamless, while helping shape how we support the next generation of enterprise sellers as our platform continues to grow. The role entails: Partnering directly with enterprise sellers and their engineering teams to architect and implement bespoke integrations leveraging Whatnotâs APIs and platform capabilities. Acting as the technical bridge between customers and internal teamsâtranslating seller needs into scalable solutions while collaborating closely with engineering, product, and account management stakeholders. Building durable tooling, workflows, and support infrastructure that help scale enterprise onboarding, integration support, and long-term customer success, including hands-on coding focused on developing scalable integration solutions and internal operational tooling. Solving complex post-sale technical challenges while helping define how Whatnot supports enterprise commerce moving forward. We offer flexibility to work from home or from one of our global office hubs, and we value in-person time for planning, problem-solving, and connection. Team members in this role must live within commuting distance of our Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York or Seattle hub. đ You People who do well at Whatnot tend to be comfortable figuring things out as they go, biased toward action, and genuinely curious about what they're building. They care more about outcomes than credit and stay close to the product and the people using it. As our next engineer on Enterprise, you should have 3+ years of software engineering
